Finance Controller – MGM Muthu Hotels, Jamaica Location : Jamaica Company : MGM Muthu Hotels Compensation : Competitive salary + Food & Accommodation + One-way entry flight ticket provided About the Role : MGM Muthu Hotels, a leading international hotel group, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Controller to oversee and manage the financial operations of our hotel in Jamaica. The ideal candidate will ensure sound financial management, compliance with internal controls, and accurate reporting aligned with company objectives. Key Responsibilities : Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with company policies and statutory requirements. Monitor cash flow, revenues, and expenditures to ensure effective cost control and profitability. Develop and implement internal financial controls, procedures, and audit systems. Liaise with external auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities. Provide strategic financial insights to management for decision-making. Supervise and guide the finance and accounting team. Ensure timely payroll processing and statutory compliance. Support management in planning and implementing cost-saving initiatives. Requirements : Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA / CA qualification preferred). Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities. Proficiency in hotel accounting systems and MS Office (especially Excel).
