About Digital India Foundation
The Digital India Foundation (DIF) is a not-for-profit think-tank aiming to foster digital inclusion and adoption, and the use of the Internet and related technologies for the developmental process.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct research and analysis on policy, regulation, and emerging issues relevant to DIF’s focus areas.
- Track developments and support both ongoing and self-initiated policy projects.
- Identify and build relationships with partners, policymakers, funders, and other stakeholders.
- Participate in coalitions and collaborative initiatives aligned with DIF’s mission.
- Develop and distribute briefings, policy notes, public comments, fact sheets, and support letters to inform policymakers and the public.
- Support DIF’s policy team in conceptualising and executing new policy initiatives, workshops, and consultations.
- Contribute to the drafting of reports, white papers, letters, testimonies, and other publications.
- Undertake other policy- and advocacy-related tasks as needed.
Qualifications :
Education : Graduate or postgraduate in relevant fields such as economics, public policy, political science, or statistics. Strong research and analytical abilities are required.Experience : Final-year students, recent graduates, or postgraduates may apply. Prior research or policy experience is preferred.Communication : Detail-oriented with strong writing and communication skills, and comfortable with public speaking. Able to translate complex academic or technical research into concise, compelling, and clear policy insights for diverse stakeholders.Remuneration as per Non-Profit / Development Sector payscales.
