SAP Cloud Platform Integration Consultant

We are looking for an experienced CPI - SAP Cloud Platform Integration Consultant to join our SAP integration team and support enterprise integration initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in SAP CPI and cloud-based integrations, with proven experience connecting SAP and non-SAP systems in complex landscapes.

This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining integrations using SAP Integration Suite, enabling seamless data flow between core ERP systems such as SAP S/4HANA and external applications. The consultant will work closely with functional teams, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable integration solutions.

The position requires strong technical understanding of middleware concepts, message mappings, APIs, and security configurations. Candidates should be comfortable working across the full SDLC-from requirement analysis and design to development, testing, deployment, and support.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and support integration scenarios using SAP Cloud Platform Integration.

- Build and enhance iFlows for SAP-to-SAP and SAP-to-non-SAP integrations.

- Integrate SAP S/4HANA with external systems using APIs, IDocs, and web services.

- Develop Groovy scripts and custom adapters to meet complex integration requirements.

- Configure connectivity, security artifacts, certificates, and user roles within SAP CPI.

- Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business processes and convert them into technical integration designs.

- Participate in solution design discussions and provide recommendations based on SAP integration best practices.

- Perform unit testing and support integration testing and UAT phases.

- Troubleshoot integration issues, analyze logs, and provide timely resolutions.

- Prepare technical documentation including interface designs, mappings, and deployment notes.

- Support transport and deployment activities across environments.

- Work closely with BASIS and infrastructure teams as required.

- Provide post-go-live support and ensure stability of integration flows.

- Participate in Agile or hybrid delivery models including sprint planning and estimations.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Overall IT experience of 6-8 years, with strong focus on SAP CPI and cloud integration.

- Proven hands-on experience in building iFlows and managing interfaces on SAP CPI / SAP Integration Suite.

- Solid exposure to SAP S/4HANA integrations.

- Experience integrating SAP with third-party or non-SAP applications.

- Strong knowledge of message mappings, value mappings, adapters, and API-based integrations.

- Hands-on experience with Groovy scripting for custom logic.

- Understanding of middleware concepts such as routing, transformation, and exception handling.

- Exposure to integration security concepts including certificates and authentication mechanisms.

- Experience across SDLC phases including requirement analysis, development, testing, deployment, and support.

- Ability to analyze issues independently and deliver effective solutions.
