Job descriptionEnsure compliance with Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) standards and statutory norms. Coordinate with regulatory bodies and handle audits. Implement and sustain quality standards (ISO, GMP, HACCP, etc.). Monitor process control, defect reduction, and continuous improvement. Lead preventive and predictive maintenance programs. Manage utilities, CAPEX projects, and asset management. Coordinate with SCM for planning, material availability, and cost optimization. Ensure inventory control, logistics support, and vendor collaboration. Develop and manage annual plant budgets. Optimize operating costs, waste reduction, and process automation. Lead white-collar, blue-collar, and contract workforce. Drive performance management, skill development, IR, and employee engagement. Collaborate with corporate functions—HR, Finance, SCM, Quality, Projects. Present performance dashboards and improvement plans to leadership. Strong leadership and people management Expertise in manufacturing operations Knowledge of EHS, compliance, audits Cost optimization & P&L ownership Decision-making and problem-solving Ability to drive automation and digitalization BE / B.Tech – Mechanical / Chemical / Production / Industrial / Electrical (as relevant) MBA / PGDBM (preferred)
Role Overview :
The Plant Head will lead end-to-end plant operations including production, maintenance, quality, safety, cost efficiency, manpower management, statutory compliance, and continuous improvement. The role demands strong leadership, strategic planning, and operational excellence to drive productivity and profitability.

- Ensure optimal machine utilization, efficiency, and minimal downtime.
