Backend Developer (AI-native Booking Engine)
Location : Remote / India
Salary Range : INR 30,000 - 60,000 per month

At Jungle, we are rethinking how families discover and book activities. Our platform is AI native from day one, and we are building a fast and reliable booking engine that connects parents to the right experiences in seconds.
We are looking for a Backend Developer who is experienced, practical, and comfortable working in a fast moving startup environment. You will work closely with the founders to design the core backend systems that support real time availability, matching, and bookings across thousands of sessions.
What You’ll Work On
- Architect and deploy scalable backend infrastructure on Google Cloud
- Build and manage Postgres / Supabase / Firebase databases
- Design and optimize Node.js / Express APIs, with nginx for routing
- Integrate vector embeddings and RAG pipelines for intelligent search & recommendations
- Collaborate with frontend devs working in React / Next.js
- Use Postman, VS Code, or Cursor to test, iterate, and ship quickly
- Work closely with the founding team to hit ambitious milestones for launch
- Design and maintain multi layer role based access control systems. Our backend requires handling 8 to 9 layers of authorization for different user types.
