We at Coforge are hiring for SDET role with following skill sets :

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SDET with over 5 years of experience in automation testing. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java , Selenium , and Rest Assured , and will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust automation frameworks for both UI and API testing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Java , Selenium , and Rest Assured .
  • Design and execute automated test scripts for web and API testing.
  • Collaborate with development and QA teams to understand requirements and ensure high test coverage.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI / CD pipelines for continuous testing.
  • Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with developers to resolve issues.
  • Maintain version control and documentation for test scripts and frameworks.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in test automation.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in automation testing.
  • Strong proficiency in Java programming.
  • Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for UI automation.
  • Solid experience with Rest Assured for API automation.
  • Experience in building and maintaining custom automation frameworks .
  • Familiarity with TestNG or JUnit for test management.
  • Experience with CI / CD tools such as Jenkins , GitHub Actions , or similar.
  • Proficient in Git for version control and GitHub / Bitbucket for remote repositories.
  • Good understanding of software testing principles , SDLC , and Agile methodologies .
  • Experience with reporting tools like Extent Reports , Allure , or similar.

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber .
  • Exposure to cloud-based testing platforms (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).
  • Knowledge of Docker , Kubernetes , or other containerization tools is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
