Mushroom Cultivation Trainee

We’re building a new generation of mycologists who learn by doing.

At Akaththi Farms , we’re opening applications for Project ROOT — Real-World Observation & Ownership Trial for the role of Mycology Research Intern .

This is a 14-day paid journey inside our cultivation and research space.

You’ll work on tissue culture, spawn production, and daily farm operations while observing how living systems behave when no one is rushing them. No lectures. No theory. Just hands-on learning and quiet observation that builds intuition.

At the end of 14 days :

• If we align, you’ll continue as a full-time Mycology Research Associate .
• If not, you’ll still walk away paid , with a Certificate in Hands-On Mushroom Cultivation and a Project ROOT completion certificate.

Because real growth happens through curiosity — not checklists.

Who can apply

BSc / MSc / PhD students in Science, Agriculture, Plant Pathology, Microbiology, or related fields.

No prior mushroom experience required — only patience, observation, and care.
