Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Field Service Lightning (FSL) Architect to lead the design and implementation of advanced FSL solutions for our global clients. This role will play a critical part in shaping field service operations, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and enabling scalable customer service excellence. As the technical authority, you will bring deep expertise across the Salesforce ecosystem and deliver end-to-end architecture, guiding teams through complex enterprise deployments while staying at the forefront of Salesforce Responsibilities :
- Architect, design, and implement enterprise-scale Salesforce Field Service Lightning solutions, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
- Lead discovery workshops with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into FSL architectural designs.
- Provide expert-level guidance on FSL objects and features, including Work Orders, Service Appointments, Dispatcher Console, Scheduling & Optimization, Service Territories, Skills, Crews, Operating Hours, Time Sheets, Inventory & Returns, Knowledge, and Entitlements.
- Develop and maintain data models, integrations, and automation logic using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, SOQL / SOSL, and Salesforce APIs (REST / Platform Events / Change Data Capture).
- Define and enforce technical best practices, coding standards, and deployment strategies across the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Collaborate with client stakeholders, business analysts, and developers to deliver high-quality, on-time, and cost-effective solutions.
- Oversee solution design documentation, delivery roadmaps, and governance models for FSL Mentor junior Salesforce professionals by conducting code reviews, technical training, and knowledge transfer sessions.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, such as IT, Customer Success, and Service Operations, to ensure solutions align with enterprise objectives.
- Evaluate emerging Salesforce features and provide recommendations on product adoption and roadmap Skills & Qualifications :
- 10+ years of IT experience with at least 8+ years in Salesforce platform architecture and Minimum 6 years of hands-on, dedicated experience in Salesforce Field Service Lightning.
- Proven expertise in FSL-specific objects, modules, and advanced dispatching / scheduling optimization.
- Strong development and customization proficiency in Apex, LWC, Lightning Flows, SOQL / SOSL, and Salesforce declarative tools.
- Experience with Salesforce integration patterns using RESTful APIs, Platform Events, Middleware, and Change Data Capture.
- Salesforce Certified Field Service Lightning Consultant and / or Salesforce Technical Architect (or pursuing TA credentials).
- Strong track record of leading architecture across large-scale, enterprise Salesforce :
- Additional Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Application Architect, System Architect, Integration Architecture Designer).
- Knowledge of emerging Salesforce solutions like AI / Einstein for Service or Data Cloud integration.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools for Salesforce (e.g., Copado, Gearset).
- Experience working in agile environments with distributed global delivery teams.
