We are looking for an experienced Group Head - Human Resources to lead the HR function across all four entities, drive consistency in policies, and build a unified culture of performance and growth. All HR teams from the individual entities will report functionally to this position, ensuring alignment, compliance, and efficiency across the organization. The role demands a balance between strategic leadership and hands-on management, with strong exposure to HR technology platforms and labour law compliance.
Key Responsibilities
HR Leadership
- Lead and manage HR operations across all group entities (GHR Infra, Lakshmi Infra, Urbanblocks Realty & GHR Lakshmi Urbanblocks Infra) - ensuring unified policies, systems, and governance frameworks.
- Provide strategic HR guidance to partners and senior leadership, aligning people practices with business objectives.
- Supervise and mentor HR managers from each company, ensuring consistency in implementation and reporting.
Talent Management & Organisation Development
Oversee workforce planning, recruitment, and succession management for corporate, project, and site-level roles.Build a robust talent pipeline for technical, engineering, and project management functions.Develop and institutionalise performance management systems (KPIs / KRAs) that link employee outcomes to project goals.Design training and leadership development programs for both managerial and site level staff.HR Systems & Technology
Lead the implementation and optimisation of HRMS / HRIS platforms such as Keka, Zoho People, or similar tools across all entities.Ensure system integration for attendance, payroll, leave, appraisal, and compliance tracking.Develop data-driven dashboards and analytics for management reporting and decision-making.Employee Relations & Engagement
Build a unified, positive work culture that fosters collaboration, accountability, and retention.Implement structured communication channels and grievance-handling mechanisms.Drive employee engagement programs, rewards and recognition, and wellness initiatives.Compliance, Legal & Labour Relations
Ensure full compliance with all applicable labour laws, statutory regulations, and employment standards, including :
Factories Act, CLRA, Shops & Establishment, Minimum Wages, PF, ESI, Gratuity, and RERA HR-related provisions.Oversee statutory inspections, audits, and filings across all group companies and project sites.Establish systems for documentation, internal audits, and regulatory reporting.Liaise with legal advisers, consultants, and government authorities for all HR-related compliance matters.Compensation & Benefits

MBA / PGDM in Human Resources from a recognized institution (Master's degree preferred).15-20 years of HR leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior or group level HR role.Prior experience in real estate, construction, or infrastructure companies is mandatory.Proven ability to manage multi-entity HR operations and large, diverse workforces.Strong command of labour laws, statutory compliance, and HR audits.Hands-on experience implementing and managing HRMS / HRIS platforms.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with a focus on strategic alignment and operational excellence.(ref : iimjobs.com)
