Job Title : Financial Modelling & Reporting Analyst

Job Summary

We are seeking a Financial Modelling & Reporting Analyst to support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of fund- and asset-level financial models. The role works closely with the Asset Management team to ensure accurate, consistent, and well-structured financial models that support ongoing portfolio monitoring, reporting, and forecasting activities.

This role requires working in the Sydney shift, with work hours starting at 5 : 00 AM IST.

Location – Remote ( Mumbai / Pune is preferred)

Key Responsibilities

Liaise with the Asset Management team to develop, maintain, and update fund-level and asset-level financial models .

Build and maintain financial models in Pigment to forecast cash flows, perform DCF valuations , and track asset and fund performance.

Develop and maintain cash flow models, ensuring accurate calculation of IRR, NPV, and other return metrics .

Ensure proper integration and consistency of the three financial statements within financial models.

Perform ongoing model maintenance, updates, and quality checks to ensure data accuracy and model integrity.

Utilize advanced Excel for detailed financial modelling, reconciliations, and scenario analysis.

Use SQL to extract, validate, and analyse data supporting financial models and reporting.

Support periodic reporting and ad hoc analysis for internal stakeholders.

Document model assumptions, methodologies, and processes to ensure transparency and continuity.

Required Skills & Experience

4–8 years of experience in financial modelling, FP&A, or analytical finance roles .

Strong understanding of cash flow modelling , DCF mechanics, and return calculations ( IRR, NPV ).

Solid knowledge of the three financial statements and how they link together.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel .

Working knowledge of SQL .

Experience with Pigment or similar financial planning / modelling tools (or strong ability to learn quickly).

High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.

Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in asset management, real estate, infrastructure, or fund administration environments.

Familiarity with fund structures and portfolio reporting.

Professional qualifications such as CA, CFA (Level I / II), CPA, or MBA are a plus.
