Job description

Accelya is seeking an experienced Manager - Software Development to guide and coach a team of software developers, providing project management and technical leadership for every aspect of software delivery, from new products to upgrades. You will take a hands-on role in software development, driving excellence and innovation.

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Develop and prepare a high-performing software development team .
  • Guide and coach software engineers .
  • Establish standards and processes along with best practices for delivery of scalable and high-quality software .
  • Understand how products would add value to respective businesses.
  • Ensure top-quality design reviews attaining business goals.
  • Supervise resource allocation to assure business and personnel development goals.
  • Manage and execute software development projects from beginning to finish.
  • Evaluate projects, develop and update schedules, plus supervise project status.

Knowledge, Experience & Skills :

  • Proven experience of leading a team (15+ people).
  • Proven ability of tackling challenging projects .
  • Strong Technical background in software development .
  • Experience of working and managing in an Agile environment .
  • Highly knowledgeable in engineering processes and methodologies .
  • Experience with unit testing and end-to-end testing .
  • Skills : Full Stack Java / NodeJS, JavaScript .
  • Knowledge of Generative AI .
  • Knowledge of measuring KPIs .
  • Knowledge of AWS / cloud computing .

    • Education :

  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering.

    • Experience :

  • 9-15 years, with experience managing a team of 15+ people.
