About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Engineer for an exciting contract opportunity with a premier Canadian client. This role focuses on ensuring the quality of enterprise-scale data solutions and ETL pipelines. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in automated testing, data validation, and cloud-based data platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute comprehensive test strategies for data pipelines and ETL processes
• Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks for data applications using industry-standard tools
• Validate data accuracy, integrity, and transformations across enterprise data platforms
• Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle
• Perform SQL-based database testing and data validation
• Conduct performance testing for large-scale data systems
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives for testing processes
• Track and manage defects through resolution
