Job Profile -Transfer Pricing
Location : Mumbai (Bandra West)
Key Responsibilities
1. Transfer Pricing Documentation
- Prepare Local Files, Master File, and Country-by-Country Reporting (CbCR) support.
- Draft TP reports in line with OECD guidelines and local regulations (e.g., Indian TP rules under Income-tax Act, 1961).
- Maintain contemporaneous documentation for compliance and tax audits.
2. Benchmarking & Economic Analysis
Conduct comparability analyses using databases like Prowess, CapitalIQ, RoyaltyStat, Bloomberg, Orbis.Perform industry research, functional analysis (FAR), and economic adjustments.Recommend the arm’s-length price using appropriate TP methods (CUP, TNMM, RPM, CPM, PSM).3. Inter-Company Policy Support
Assist in creating or updating inter-company pricing policies.Support global teams in structuring transactions (tangible goods, services, IP, financial transactions).4. Audit & Assessment Support
Prepare submissions for Tax Authorities, respond to notices, and liaise during TP audits.Assist with APA (Advance Pricing Agreements) and MAP (Mutual Agreement Procedure).5. Financial & Data Analysis
Work with finance teams to gather data, reconcile financials, and review intercompany transactions.Conduct profitability analysis, margin reviews, and cost allocation validations.6. Business Partnering
Coordinate with cross-functional teams : Finance, Legal, Operations, Supply Chain.Communicate TP implications to management and global stakeholders.Skills Required
Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of OECD TP Guidelines, BEPS Action Plans, and local TP laws.Proficiency in financial analysis, Excel, and TP databases.Good understanding of accounting principles (IFRS / GAAP).Soft Skills
