Job description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Guidewire Testing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in testing Guidewire applications (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter), with hands-on experience in automation and functional testing. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with excellent analytical and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for Guidewire applications (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter)
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure test coverage
  • Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA or ALM
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, TestNG, or similar
  • Participate in Agile / Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices

Requirements

6-10 years of experience in software testing with at least 3+ years in Guidewire Testing .

Strong knowledge of Guidewire modules - PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and / or ClaimCenter.

Experience with Guidewire Digital Portal Testing is a plus.

Proficiency in automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, UFT, TestNG).

Experience with API testing using tools like Postman or SoapUI.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA, Confluence.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Guidewire certification (if any)
  • Experience in insurance domain processes and workflows
  • Exposure to CI / CD tools like Jenkins, Git, etc
