Min Qualification

BE Mechanical / Automobile or Equivalent

Min Experience - 5 to 15 years overall experience. Minimum 6 Year Functional Experience in vehicle integration activities. Awareness of vehicle certification / homologation activities.

Job Description

A functional Lead Engineer with a record of accomplishment of successful in Vehicle integration domain. The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate a history of successful delivery of vehicle programs / engineering project management, with tracking, reporting, and communications.

As a key contributor within this team, we would look for a candidate to bring programmatic rigor and best practices in Vehicle integration to work in CFT and further the capability to manage a small team. Along with this discipline, we look for passion around evolving primarily vehicle integration trends and demonstration of liaising skill within internal CFT and external agencies.

• To have the Expertise knowledge of Domain.
• Experience in vehicle level, system level integration in Auto OEM
• Have expertise in Overall Vehicle Level Project management.
• Understanding of Vehicle DMU and compliances.
• Knowledge of basics of Vehicle aggregate functionality.
• Knowledge of Regulatory requirements related to Occupant / aggregates and its implications on Vehicle Package.
• Expertise knowledge of overall vehicle level and aggregate regulatory trends in global / APAC scenario.
• Expertise in regulatory document (STN) preparation, discussions with regulatory agencies like ARAI, ICAT.
• Expertise in pre-CMVR documentation, testing and related issue resolution.
• Expertise in change content management and estimating the regulatory requirements out of that for compliance.
• Engineering project management activities and vehicle product development process.
• Knowledge of VAVE, Quality issues resolution
• Good Analytical and Presentation Skills
• To have good analytical and presentation skills for making the documentation and reports.
• Experience in domestic and export (optional) models current and futuristic forecast regulatory requirements mapping, understanding and trend analysis.
• Experience in proto build and related development activities.
• Expertise in CAD / Vehicle Integration interface :
• Should have know-how of Vehicle aggregates, basic aggregate vehicle integration requirements.
• Should have know-how of PLM , Viz Mock Up software .
• Should have know-how of Engineering change management, basic BOM structure.
• Should be expert in DML / DCR / ECN release process execution and ensure First time right delivery.
• Should be Auto Passionate, willing to learn new things, should be able to demonstrate the interest for the automotive regulatory Domain.
• Should be motivated and self-driver for achieving the project goal.
• Should understand the importance of confidentiality and data sharing protocols.
• Should be attentive and enthusiast to go beyond boundary and achieve the result expected.
• Should have excellent MS Office knowledge and preparing the focused management presentations for enabling the decisions for the projects.
