Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Site Reliability Engineer to lead initiatives for deploying and managing applications in the cloud. The role involves driving a DevOps culture, mentoring team members, and defining best practices for infrastructure-as-code and automation to ensure reliable, scalable, and secure application delivery.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of cloud-native applications on AWS.
• Drive the adoption of DevOps culture, mentoring teams and implementing best practices for automation and CI / CD.
• Manage and maintain Kubernetes clusters (AWS EKS) and deploy applications using Helm charts.
• Build and manage Docker images and Docker Compose environments for application delivery.
• Implement and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform for scalable infrastructure provisioning.
• Design, build, and manage CI / CD pipelines in Jenkins, ensuring efficient and reliable software releases.
• Monitor application health, performance, and availability using CloudWatch, Datadog, and Splunk Cloud.
• Develop automation scripts and tools in Python or shell scripting to streamline operations and reduce manual effort.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams following Agile / Kanban methodologies to ensure smooth delivery cycles.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of microservices-based applications in AWS.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to defining and maintaining logging, monitoring, and alerting best practices across environments.
