Role Overview  :

We are looking for a highly efficient, trend-aware Video Editor specializing in fast-paced, short-form content (Reels, Shorts, Ads) . You will play a key role in creating high-retention, engaging, and platform-optimized video content for digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Edit and assemble short-form and long-form vertical videos from raw footage to final output — including Reels, Shorts, Ads, and YouTube vertical content .

Apply strong pacing, jump cuts, color correction, and text overlays to enhance storytelling.

Create impactful hooks and high-retention edits within the first 3–5 seconds.

Integrate sound effects, music syncing, basic VFX , and motion graphics as needed.

Collaborate with designers and creative strategists to maintain brand consistency.

Organize raw footage, manage project timelines, and deliver edits within tight schedules.

Stay updated on social media trends, editing styles, reels formats , and viral content techniques.

Required Skills & Background

1–3 years of professional experience in video editing.

Strong command of Adobe Premiere Pro (or Final Cut Pro).

Basic working experience in Adobe After Effects for simple motion graphics.

Portfolio / reel demonstrating expertise in short-form content and strong sense of pacing.

Knowledge of color grading, audio adjustments , and visual storytelling.

Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.

Creative thinker with sharp attention to detail and trend awareness.

Preferred Qualifications

Strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing

Experience in Video Color Grading

Ability to create Motion Graphics and work with general graphic elements

Proficiency in industry tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Final Cut Pro

Strong attention to detail and a high level of creative thinking

Excellent communication and team collaboration skills

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines

Experience in the digital media industry is an added advantage

Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media, Communications , or a related field (preferred)
