Key Responsibilities :
- Perform Diagnostic Imaging Procedures : Conduct and interpret various imaging studies, including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, ultrasounds, and mammograms.
- Patient Evaluation : Evaluate patients' medical histories to ensure the appropriateness of imaging procedures and minimize potential risks.
- Image Interpretation : Analyze and interpret imaging results to diagnose medical conditions and provide accurate reports to referring consultants.
- Collaboration : Work closely with radiology technicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care and efficient workflow.
- Patient Communication : Explain imaging procedures to patients, address their concerns, and provide necessary instructions for preparation and follow-up.
- Quality Assurance : Maintain high standards of imaging quality and safety, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
- Continuing Education : Stay updated with advancements in radiology and participate in ongoing professional development and training programs.
- Emergency Response : Be prepared to handle emergency situations and provide timely and accurate diagnoses in critical cases.
