Vb.Net Technical Lead

Job descriptionBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 8+ years of experience in software development, including 2+ years in a technical leadership role. Strong hands-on expertise in : VB.NET and ASP.NET (backend development) SQL Server (database design, optimization, and stored procedures) JavaScript (frontend scripting and UI interactivity) Experience with web services (REST / SOAP), version control (Git), and CI / CD pipelines. Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and object-oriented principles. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design, development, and delivery of software applications.
- Provide hands-on coding and technical guidance in VB.NET, ASP.NET, SQL Server, and JavaScript.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable, maintainable solutions.
- Mentor and guide developers, conduct code reviews, and enforce coding standards.
- Ensure application performance, security, and scalability through implementation of best practices.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks, and troubleshoot complex issues across environments.
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Coordinate with QA and DevOps teams for testing, deployment, and release management.
- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams and workflows.
