Exp Required : 5 - 8 years

Work Location : Pune, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad

Work Mode : WFO / Hybrid

Primary Skillset : AS400 + Cobol

Job description :

Experience up to 7 years and min 5 years of experience in Mandatory Skills COBOL400 COBOL ILE SQL400 Query400 Strong working knowledge in DB2400 ILE Concepts Display Files Sub Files Printer Files Embedded SQL Additional Skills Aldon MQ Series is a plus

Roles and Responsibilities

Software Developer who can perform the below tasks Development Root Cause Analysis on the assigned tasks AD Preparation Coding Unit testing and Bug Fixing Test case document preparation

Technical Skills

iSeries Development Expertise in technologies such as AS400 ILE COBOL ILE CL C database DB2

Knowledge of iSeries APIs Data queues User queues multithreading Journaling and IBM iSeries file systems such as Library based system etc

Experience with SQL and MQ Series is a plus

Responsibilities

Development

Functional Requirements and perform requirement analysis

Estimate and Monitor Estimates

Work with Business teams to prioritize work

Prepare detailed design documentation

Interface between customer and Offshore Team

Reporting and tracking of assignments

Fix high priority issues
