Environmental Chemist II - Data Validation

Summary :

AECOM is seeking an Environmental Chemist Data Validation to be part of our Enterprise Capabilities team and based in Bengaluru India. This position offers a flexible hybrid work arrangement to include a combination of both in office and remote work schedules.

Roles and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following :

• Review and validate laboratory data packages by United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) guidance to ensure compliance with published analytical methods and usability of environmental data.
• Upload laboratory analytical data to specific client and regulatory databases.
• Manage data in relational database systems like EarthSoft EQuIS, Locus EIM, MS Access, or other environment databases.
• Prepare technical memoranda and white papers to be included in client deliverables.
• Implement innovation and automation tools produced by the team.
• Task management : Manage workloads assigned by chemistry staff within stipulated time. Should be flexible with working hours to support other geographical regions
• Proficient in Level 2 and 3 data validation. Experience in Level 4 validation is a value add for this role, but not mandatory.
• The project chemist will support quality assurance / quality control, data management, data analysis, and various analytical chemistry aspects of environmental investigations for our clients.
