Job description
  • At least 5–7 years of experience building, managing, and deploying ScienceLogic solutions. This includes a deep understanding of its core components, PowerPacks, and functionalities.
  • Perform upgrades, patching, and configuration of SL1, PowerFlow, PowerPacks, and SyncPacks.
  • Maintain availability, integrity, and security of the SL1 platform.
  • Triage and resolve platform-level issues and integration problems.
  • Broad knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux), networking concepts (TCP / IP, DNS), and database management. Experience with cloud platforms like AWS and Azure is often required.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to resolve complex, mission-critical issues.
  • Experience with scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell
  • Experience working with application monitoring systems and other AIOps solutions.
  • Develop and maintain monitoring and notification rules.
  • Tune SL1 to optimize performance and cost across cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
  • Assist in anomaly detection and alerting improvements.
  • Integrate SL1 with tools like ServiceNow, JIRA, and other enterprise systems.
  • Support automation workflows and dashboard creation for KPIs.
  • Manage access controls and enforce least privilege principles.

    • Assist with security assessments and compliance documentation.
