Job Summary :
We are seeking a highly experienced Microbiology Trainer with over 10 years of professional experience in academic, industrial, or laboratory microbiology. The trainer will design, deliver, and evaluate microbiology training programs for students, fresh graduates, and professionals working in pharmaceutical, food, and life sciences industries.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct hands-on and theoretical training sessions on Microbiology fundamentals , Industrial & Pharmaceutical Microbiology , and Quality Control techniques .
- Train participants on GMP / GLP , sterility testing , environmental monitoring , microbial identification , media preparation , and bioburden testing .
- Develop customized training modules , SOPs , and practical manuals as per industry standards.
- Ensure laboratory safety, aseptic techniques, and equipment maintenance during all sessions.
- Provide individual assessments , feedback, and performance evaluations for trainees.
- Stay updated with recent developments in microbiology, regulatory requirements, and emerging technologies.
- Support audits, certifications, and documentation in alignment with ISO, WHO, and regulatory guidelines .
- Collaborate with R&D, QA, and production teams to integrate industry-relevant practices in training.
Required Skills & Competencies :
Strong expertise in pharmaceutical microbiology , sterility assurance , environmental monitoring , and method validation .In-depth understanding of GMP, GLP, FDA, and WHO guidelines .Excellent presentation, communication, and mentoring skills.Proficiency in using laboratory instruments such as laminar air flow, autoclave, incubators, and colony counters .Ability to train diverse groups effectively — from students to experienced professionals.Strong organizational and documentation abilities.Qualifications :
M.Sc. / M.Tech / Ph.D. in Microbiology, Biotechnology, or Life Sciences.Minimum 10 years of industrial or academic experience in Microbiology (preferably in pharmaceutical, food, or biotech sectors).Prior experience in training, teaching, or lab supervision is mandatory.
