Serving remotely, with overlap with USA PST timezone (3-4 hrs)

• Proficient in Ruby fundamentals, idioms, metaprogramming
• Deep understanding of OOP, mixins, blocks, procs, and lambdas
• Familiarity with memory management, GC tuning, and performance profiling
• Experience with frameworks like Ruby on Rails,Grape ActiveRecord, ActiveJob, ActionCable, ActiveModel validations, Engines, initializers, routing, and lifecycle callbacks
• Deploying and optimizing Passenger, Thin
• Deeper understanding of Thread vs. process models, Connection handling, worker tuning, memory profiling
• PostgreSQL and advanced usage of ActiveRecord
• Optimizing N+1 queries, indexes, and query plans
• Bundler, Rake, Rubygems
• Gem building and custom gem publishing
• RVM, rbenv, chruby
