This role will be working with the Maconomy ERP testing team, which is responsible for managing the implementation and usage of our technical test tools, as well as supporting technical testing approaches within the wider QA, Test & Release team. You will provide technical as well as best practice support for all areas of test automation to the business.
WPP-ET are deploying a global ERP template throughout their operation companies called Maconomy Core. This role is working in the Testing & Release team, providing support for the following :
- Test Management
- Test Execution
- Tool support and admin
What you'll be doing :
TESTING
Performing risk assessments and producing Test documentation e.g. Test Plans, Test Approaches, Test Cases, Test Scripts, and other related itemsPreparing and executing Testing for Project & BAU fixes / changes, to ensure they are completed in accordance with the Global Test StrategyEnsure that reporting and communication of plans, progress and issues is delivered in a timely and effective mannerWorking proactively to resolve issues where necessary with Support.Working with 3rd party teams to ensure testing is delivered correctly and on timeSetting up Jira / Zephyr for Project & BAU Testing ActivitiesExecuting & Maintaining Automated scriptsActing as a point of reference for Business UATSupport Execution of Test Scripts by Business UsersEscalation of risksAble to communicate complex issues in a digestible form (to both Business & Technical teams)Supporting Testing out of Hours, including Releases into our Production environmentsSupporting the Release team if needed at crucial timesTOOLING
Creating new Projects in JiraCreating / Updating Global Config for Jira ProjectsUser Management in JiraWhat you'll need :
