Designation / Role : AS 400 Developer

Location : Mumbai-Powai

We are seeking a skilled AS400 / iSeries Developer to support and enhance legacy systems within our enterprise insurance domain. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with RPGLE , CL programming , DB2 / 400 , and be proficient with key AS400 tools such as DFU , RLU , SDA , and Arcad . You will play a critical role in maintaining system performance, delivering enhancements, and ensuring data integrity across platforms.

Requirements

Technical Skills :

• 3-6 years of hands-on experience as AS 400

Key Responsibilities :

Develop, maintain, and support applications on the AS400 / iSeries platform.

Write and optimize programs using RPG IV, RPGLE, SQLRPGLE , and CL / 400 .

Manage DB2 / 400 database operations, queries, and stored procedures.

Utilize tools like DFU, RLU, SDA, QUERY / 400, Arcad , and others for application and report development.

Troubleshoot system issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams for resolution.

Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and performance tuning.

Work with MQ, RDI , and other integration tools as needed.

Required Skills :

Strong expertise in AS400, RPGLE, CLLE, SQLRPGLE .

Proficiency in DB2 / 400 and database query tools.

Experience with Arcad , DFU , RLU , SDA , and QUERY / 400 .

Familiarity with MQ or RDI is a plus.

Solid understanding of the insurance domain or legacy system workflows is preferred.
