Employment Type : Full-Time

Role : Software Development Engineer

Position : Developer, Senior Developer, and Lead Developer

Project : Maps and Advertising Platforms Product

Experience : SDE; 3-9 Years

Key Skills : Scala Programming + Any Frameworks : Play / Akka+ API, Database, Strong Logical and problem-solving skills

Joining time : Immediate to 30 days

Job Location : Hyderabad - India (Hybrid Mode)

Education : Masters / bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related technical discipline will be : Scala+Play / Akka

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design and Development : Architect, design, and implement scalable and efficient software solutions using Java. Engage in the full software development lifecycle from conception through deployment.
  • Algorithm Optimization : Utilize your deep understanding of data structures and algorithms to optimize and enhance existing systems and contribute to solving complex problems.
  • Code Quality : Write clean, maintainable, and testable code. Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in software development.
  • Functional Programming : Apply functional programming principles where appropriate. Familiarize yourself with Scala or similar functional programming paradigms.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality software products.
  • Mentorship : Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers, guiding them in both best practices and career growth.

Key Requirements :

  • Strong DSA Fundamentals : Proven expertise in data structures and algorithms is essential for this role.

    • Skills and experiences required :

  • 3 - 9 years of experience in software development, preferably in backend or systems engineering roles.
  • Strong programming skills in Scala or Java (with interest in learning Scala).
  • Experience with at least one Scala framework : Play or Akka.
  • Solid experience in API development and working with databases (SQL / NoSQL).
