SAP SD L2 Support

Location : Karappakkam OMR, Chennai

Years Of Experience 6-10 years

SAP Functional : 4-6 years

Job Role

Provide SAP SD Incident Mgmt. support with integration insight on other support

modules, to end users enabling them to use SAP and SAP surround applications

effectively. Work with SAP SD Lead in resolving problems and provide changes as

required.

Job Description

  • Provide SME Support in resolving the SAP Application issues (Includes RCA, Problem resolution).
  • Provide functional insights to Technical Team for Incidents and Problem tickets which could not be solved by L1 team.
  • Provide functional insights for L2 Incidents related to respective SAP modules in the primary environment, and the secondary environment which are non SAP platform applications which may or may not be interfaced with SAP.
  • Request handling through Tool (Which includes follow up, updating Incident and closure within stipulated SLAs).
  • Handling Service Requests
  • Knowledge in Integration of SD / FI, SD / MM, SD / PP scenarios.
  • Change Management :
  • Responsible for Test plan preparation of all CR’s more than 3 days of effort (low & medium CR’s).
  • RICEF End to End Delivery medium and complex CR’s( Develop Functional specification which requires coding / configuration , Testingand Deployment).
  • Gather and publish Data for various stake holders (MIS, Operational KPIs, etc.).
  • Knowledge Management ( Creating / updating the System documentation and Training / User Manuals).
  • SAP Roles & Authorization Management.

Qualification

Degree : BE / B-Tech / MBA / any Computer Graduation.

Certifications (Optional) : SAP SD, ITIL-F

Essentials Skills

  • Fair Knowledge in all the SAP SD Concepts (SD Pricing, Document controls, GST and E-Invoicing, Variant Configuration, Batch Management, Credit Management / FSCM, etc.).
  • Knowledge in SAP integration Areas with SAP OTC- ECC / S4 andInterface with other Applications (API, IDOCS etc.).
  • Basic ABAP Debugging Knowledge.
  • knowledge in SAP HANA, Exposure to Support Projects and End to End Implementation projects.
  • Good Communication and Interaction skills with Stake Holders ( Business owners, End users, Solution Architects, etc.).
