The developer will work in an Agile environment, delivering assigned tasks within sprint cycles, and collaborating with cross functional teams to ensure high quality solutions.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer with 4 to 8 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and implementing solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
Responsibilities
- Development & Customization :
- Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions, including Catalog Items, Workflows, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, and Service Portal widgets.
- Customize and configure the ServiceNow platform to meet business requirements, ensuring scalability and performance.
- Develop and maintain AngularJS based Service Portal components and integrations.
- ITSM & Service Delivery :
- Implement and optimize ITSM processes such as Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management and Service Request Management.
- Configure and manage SLA (Service Level Agreement) definitions and workflows to ensure compliance with business requirements.
- Work on Workspace Service Delivery module to enhance user experience and streamline service delivery.
- Integration & Automation :
- Integrate ServiceNow with third party tools and systems using REST / SOAP APIs, MID Server, and other integration methods.
- Automate repetitive tasks and processes using workflows, orchestration, and scripting.
- Troubleshooting & Support :
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for ServiceNow applications and integrations.
- Identify and resolve performance issues, bugs, and defects in a timely manner.
- Continuous Improvement :
- Stay updated with the latest ServiceNow features, releases, and industry trends.
- Recommend and implement improvements to existing processes and solutions.
Qualifications
4 to 8 years of experience in ServiceNow development and implementation.Strong expertise in ITSM, Service Portal, Workspace Service Delivery module, and Catalog Item building.Proficiency in JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML / CSS, and REST / SOAP APIs.Hands on experience with Client Scripts, Business Rules, Script Includes, and Workflow development.Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in sprint based environments.Experience with SLA management and performance analytics.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Preferred Skills
