JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Linux & AWS Systems Engineer to manage, maintain, and

enhance our cloud infrastructure. This role requires deep technical expertise in Linux administration

and Amazon Web Services, with a strong focus on automation, security, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain Linux-based systems (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS, etc.)
  • Experience in Linux OS support and management is mandatory
  • Deploy and manage infrastructure on AWS (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda, etc.)
  • Automate system configuration and deployment using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or

CloudFormation

  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system security
  • Perform backup and recovery operations using AWS-native and third-party tools
  • Implement CI / CD pipelines and support DevOps practices
  • Manage logging, monitoring, and alerting systems (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana)
  • Maintain compliance with security and regulatory standards
  • Experience in Amazon workspace
  • Experience in Amazon networking technologies, VPC,Transit gateways etc
  • Knowledge and experience in managing MySQL databases
  • Required Skills

  • 3-5 years of strong hands-on experience with Linux system administration
  • Proficiency in AWS core services and cloud architecture best practices
  • Experience with scripting (Bash, Python, or Shell)
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)
  • Knowledge of networking concepts (DNS, TCP / IP, VPN, firewalls)
  • Experience with Git and version control workflows
  • Basic understanding of containerization (Docker, ECS, or Kubernetes)
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • AWS Certified SysOps Administrator or Solutions Architect
  • Experience with DevOps toolchains (Jenkins, GitLab CI / CD)
  • Exposure to monitoring and logging frameworks
  • Knowledge of cloud cost optimization techniques
  • Experience in ITIL-based environments
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Collaboration with other teams and own issues and take responsibilities
