OrCAD / Graphics Dx Designer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Orcad / Graphics Dx Designer with strong expertise in circuit design and schematic capture using OrCAD / Mentor Graphics Dx Designer. The ideal candidate should bring hands-on experience in electrical design of cables, assemblies, and ATE hardware, along with an understanding of mechanical design and PCB layout processes.

Roles and Responsibilities

Design and develop electronic circuits for various applications.

Perform schematic capture using OrCAD and Mentor Graphics Dx Designer.

Execute electrical design of cables and assemblies with accuracy and reliability.

Develop Automated Test Equipment (ATE) hardware solutions.

Collaborate with mechanical design teams to ensure seamless integration of assemblies.

Provide inputs and guidance for PCB layout design.

Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables are met on time.

Document design processes, changes, and testing procedures.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Electronics / Electrical Engineering or related field.

3–4 years of hands-on experience in circuit design.

3–4 years of proven experience in schematic capture using OrCAD / Mentor Graphics Dx Designer.

3–4 years of experience in electrical design of cables and assemblies.

3–4 years of experience in ATE hardware design.

Good understanding of mechanical design of assemblies.

Working knowledge of PCB layout processes and ability to provide design inputs.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
