Designation : Piping Stress Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities;

• Perform stress analysis using Caesar II software and pipe supports design for pipelines / piping above-ground and underground.
• Ability to identify various data required to perform surge analysis for each project stage.
• Surge Analysis of metallic & non-metallic using PIPENET software.
• Ability to extract surge force from PIPENET that to be input in the stress analysis and also need to identify the surge force is appropriate or not.
• Ability to prepare surge analysis report that to be submitted to employer as official deliverable.
• Should be able understand the process and analyse the systems for pressure surges that could result from various possible events and provide recommendations to mitigate the same.
• Conduct technical reviews of stress analysis and pipe support calculations for underground and above ground piping to ensure compliance to relevant industry standards and safe design practices.
• Ensure all applicable static and dynamic load cases are correctly applied in the
• Coordinate with non-metallic pipe vendors to obtain correct pipe properties to

ensure stress analysis conforms to vendor supplied parameters

Initiate Value Engineering solutions and implement in consultation with other disciplines and get approval from client / PMC.
