Opportunity : HVAC Design Engineer at Cerebration Consultants

About the Role :

As a Junior Engineer, you will work under the guidance of senior engineers to assist in the designing, planning, execution and service of Air Conditioning systems for various commercial and industrial projects. You will gain exposure to all stages of a project from concept design to execution and commissioning.

In this role, you will design a proper system to suit the project's requirements, prepare sketch schemes and GFC drawings, work towards getting the contractor’s drawing approved, supervise the work at regular intervals, organise site meetings to coordinate the work with various agencies concerned, and be involved in project management to get the work completed as per schedule. Performance testing and certification of the plant post completion and commissioning of works for smooth takeover by owners.

What We Need :

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Minimum 1 year of experience with AUTOCAD

Proficiency in English (Written and Spoken)

Knowledge of 1 year in Revit MEP is a plus

Proficiency in Microsoft Office

What We’re Looking For :

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Minimum 2 years of AUTOCAD experience

Experience in Design checking and Microsoft Office

Immediate availability is preferred

What You’ll Do :

To be well versed in AUTOCAD including the development of blocks and Dynamic Blocks

Ability to develop and generate detailed calculations based on HVAC requirements concerning heat loads, ventilation details, and pressurisation systems

Ability to prepare AUTOCAD drawings, coordination drawings and quantity take-offs

Able to ensure quality is maintained as per the details of the drawings at site and ensure the contractors adhere to Project Requirements

Be able to validate the system performance post commissioning

Capable of Performing Energy Audits and IEQ Evaluations to measure Building Performance

Capable of performing CFD and energy Simulations

Ability to validate HVAC designs

Previous experience with new products and process introductions. Ability to cope with fast-changing environments and good time management skills

Demonstrated planning, organising, interpersonal, team building, and verbal and written communication skills with proven leadership and decision-making abilities
