Job Title : Assistant Professor - Foundation
Education Background :
- Postgraduate degree in Design & Technology or a related discipline.
- Additional qualifications in multi-disciplinary design will be an advantage.
Industry Experience Required :
Minimum 8–10 years of professional experience in multi-disciplinary design roles.Strong exposure to applied industry practices and collaboration with cross-functional teams.Key Responsibilities (KRAs) :
Design and teach subjects / modules / courses, including preparation and regular revision of course materials (syllabi, assignments, handouts, and teaching aids).Conduct and supervise tutorials, workshops, practical sessions, and lab work.Design and administer assessment briefs; evaluate student work and provide timely, constructive formative and summative feedback.Facilitate and encourage student engagement on online and face-to-face learning platforms.Identify and integrate industry connections, case studies, and guest interactions within the curriculum.Drive student achievement and engagement through participation in events, exhibitions, competitions (national / international), and industry projects.Contribute to the continuous improvement of academic quality standards and align with institutional policies and regulatory requirements.Key Competencies :
