Roles Responsibilities
- Lead the assembly, integration, and testing of systems on metrology equipments used in semiconductor manufacturing.
- Develop and maintain system specifications based on customer requirements and Semiconductor industry standards.
- Conduct design reviews to identify and resolve conflicts or trade-offs in system design.
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards throughout the assembly and implementation phases.
- Manage the Bill of Materials (BOM) and oversee documentation release plans.
- Prepare essential engineering deliverables such as Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA), technical specifications, and risk assessments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system interfaces and ensure optimal performance across all product functionalities.
- Participate in cost management strategies to align product designs with budgetary constraints.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues during assembly and testing.
Eligibility Criteria
Bachelors in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field with 5+ years of experience in system engineering orMasters in system engineering with 3+ years of experience in system engineering.Strong proficiency in systems assembly, integration, and testing.Excellent technical documentation skills.Proven problem-solving abilities for complex hardware and system issues.Project management experience, including planning, execution, and finalisation of projects.Risk management skills, including identification, assessment, and mitigation of potential risks in system assembly.Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical and electrical diagrams.Experience with optical metrology systems. Knowledge of thin film metrology and optical constant measurements. Experience with laser systems and optical components.Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing processes / equipment, cleanroom SEMI standards / compliance requirements for metrology equipment.Understanding of mechanical and electrical design principles. Proficiency in CAD software, such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD.Understanding of signal processing and data acquisition systems.Prior experience working within specific industries, such as semiconductor manufacturing, nanofabrication, or product development.Experience with precision alignment and calibration of optical systems.Meticulous attention to detail is essential for ensuring accuracy, quality, and the successful implementation of solutions.Valid US B1 VisaSkills Required
