Description

We are seeking a Java Production Support professional to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in supporting Java applications in production environments, ensuring high availability and performance.

Responsibilities

Monitor and maintain Java-based applications in production environments.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth deployment of new features and fixes.
Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement preventive measures.
Create and maintain documentation for support processes and procedures.
Provide on-call support as needed and participate in after-hours maintenance activities.

Skills and Qualifications

Strong experience in Java programming and related technologies.

Proficiency in database management with SQL and experience in Oracle or MySQL.

Familiarity with application servers such as Tomcat, JBoss, or WebSphere.

Knowledge of version control systems like Git or SVN.

Experience with monitoring tools and debugging techniques.

Understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Good communication skills to liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
