PHP Developer

Role Description

We are seeking a motivated PHP / Laravel Developer with at least one year of professional experience. In this role, you will be a key part of our development process, from "Discovery and Analysis" through to "Deployment and Support." You will be responsible for building and maintaining robust, high-quality web applications for our diverse clients, contributing to projects that range from e-commerce platforms to custom business solutions.

Qualifications

1+ years of professional experience in web development.

Proficiency in Back-End Web Development and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)

Experience with Front-End Development and integrating front-end solutions

Strong skills in Software Development and general Programming principles

Knowledge of PHP frameworks and SQL databases is a plus

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Development, or a related field

Ability to work on-site and collaborate with cross-functional teams

What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)

Develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using the Laravel framework and core PHP.

Write clean, secure, and well-documented code that adheres to industry best practices.

Design, build, and optimize complex MySQL databases and queries.

Collaborate with our design and front-end teams to integrate user-facing elements using JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

Participate in the full project lifecycle, including solution design, development, testing, and quality assurance.

Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems to ensure optimal performance and security.

Contribute to a collaborative environment, participating in code reviews and sharing your knowledge with the team.

Nice-to-Have Skills (Preferred)

Experience with other PHP frameworks (like CodeIgniter, Symfony, or Yii).

Knowledge of a modern JavaScript framework (e.g., React.js, Vue.js, or Node.js).

Experience building or consuming RESTful APIs.

Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (WooCommerce, Magento, or Shopify).
