Head of Home Care Transformation

BaptistCare, one of Australia’s largest home care providers, is hiring a Head of Home Care Transformation to lead the unification and optimisation program following the National BaptistCare merger.

About the role :

The Head of Home Care Transformation will manage a program of strategic projects to unify and optimise BaptistCare's home care operations. This senior role will work closely with the Chief Operating Officer – Home Care and senior operational leadership across NSW, ACT, Victoria, Tasmania and WA to develop and implement an integrated and streamlined approach to the delivery of high-quality, effective, and financially sustainable services.

The challenging position will focus on understanding the current operating models and environments for the national home care services and manage a suite of projects to deliver one, unified, effective home care model delivering efficient and high-quality outcomes for clients. The HO Home Care Transformation will also introduce innovative solutions to boost service delivery and efficiency, while promoting a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.

This is a national-based role with a requirement to travel as needed.

About you :

The successful candidate will have :

  • Tertiary qualifications in fields such as healthcare, aged care, business, project management, healthcare administration, or related areas.
  • Substantial leadership experience at a senior level within home care, aged care, or other complex health and human services—preferably in care or community health settings.
  • Skills in overseeing, guiding, and executing large-scale strategic initiatives or broad organisational transformations.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Home Care regulations, including service standards, quality benchmarks, and funding mechanisms.
  • Proven experience is leading teams that operate across multiple locations in demanding operational contexts.
  • A track record of enhancing operational efficiency, increasing workforce engagement, and elevating care quality through the formulation and execution of strategic plans in line with organisational objectives.
  • Proven skill in building and sustaining productive relationships with a variety of stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Experienced in managing budgets and resources adeptly.
