About the Role :
We are seeking an experienced Guidewire Developer (ClaimCenter) to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in ClaimCenter configuration, integration, batch processing, messaging, and work queue management, with a strong understanding of insurance business processes.
This role involves designing, developing, and implementing ClaimCenter solutions that meet complex business needs while adhering to best practices and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, configure, and implement solutions within Guidewire ClaimCenter.
- Develop ClaimCenter Configuration components including entities, typelists, PCFs, workflows, rules, and Gosu classes.
- Work on ClaimCenter Integrations using web services (SOAP / REST), messaging, and middleware tools.
- Design and implement batch processes for data loading, updates, and system automation.
- Develop and manage message queues and work queues for asynchronous processing and job scheduling.
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and QA teams to deliver scalable and maintainable solutions.
- Perform unit testing, debugging, and ensure code quality compliance.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation.
Required Skills & Experience :
5-10 years of overall IT experience with 3+ years of hands-on experience in Guidewire ClaimCenter development.Strong experience in :
ClaimCenter Configuration (entities, typelists, rules, workflows, PCFs).ClaimCenter Integration (web services, plugins, messaging).Batch processes, Message queues, and Work queues.Proficiency in Gosu, Java, and related object-oriented programming concepts.Familiarity with Guidewire Studio, Guidewire tools, and GUnit testing.Understanding of Insurance domain processes (claims lifecycle, policies, coverage, exposure, etc.).Knowledge of SQL, SOAP / REST APIs, and integration frameworks.Exposure to Agile / Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices is a plus.Good to Have :
Guidewire Certification (ClaimCenter Configuration or Integration Developer).Experience with other Guidewire modules like PolicyCenter or BillingCenter.Knowledge of CI / CD, Git, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps pipelines.Why Join Us?
