Engineer I, Information Operations

Description

: We are seeking an Engineer I to support and enhance our cloud-first infrastructure, focusing on AWS, Azure, and Windows Server environments. This role is ideal for someone with foundational experience in systems administration and a strong interest in cloud engineering and automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure, including EC2, S3, VPC, Route53, IAM, and related services.
• Manage and maintain Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Monitor system performance and availability using tools such as Amazon CloudWatch and Dynatrace.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware / software issues in accordance with SLA commitments.
• Support application deployment and integration across infrastructure platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement secure, scalable, and resilient solutions.
• Manage identity and access using Okta, Azure AD, and SSO integrations.
• Maintain system documentation and provide training to peers on new or modified systems.
• Research and recommend improvements to infrastructure architecture and operations.
• Participate in the design and implementation of automation scripts and tools to streamline operations.
