Job Role - Senior ML Engineer

Job Type - Full-Time

Work mode - Onsite

Location - Chennai

Transport : Cab facility available within a 20 km radius

Shift timing - 4 pm to 1 am (Cab facilities will be there

Experience Level : 4–8 years

About the Role :

We are seeking a Machine Learning Engineer with strong practical experience in model building and a passion for solving real-world problems with AI. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise across the ML lifecycle, solid programming skills, and exposure to modern AI technologies like Gen-AI, RAG, and Vision models.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design, build, train, and evaluate ML models for production use cases.
  • Write efficient, maintainable, and scalable code in Python .
  • Work with SQL to query and transform data for model training and analysis.
  • Create and maintain Excel-based reports for performance tracking and business insights.
  • Use cloud platforms and ML workbenches for experimentation and deployment.
  • Develop and fine-tune NLP models , implement RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation) solutions, and experiment with Vision models and OCR pipelines .
  • Apply deep learning techniques to solve complex problems.
  • Work with MCP servers to manage and deploy ML workflows.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends in Generative AI , ML, and DL.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

  • Model Building : Strong hands-on experience developing, training, and deploying ML models.
  • Programming : Proficient in Python with good coding practices.
  • Machine Learning : Good understanding of ML concepts, algorithms, and practical implementation.
  • SQL : Intermediate skills for data extraction, joins, and aggregations.
  • Excel Reporting : Ability to build and maintain performance dashboards and reports.
  • Cloud & ML Workbench : Basic knowledge of using cloud services and ML platforms.
  • NLP : Intermediate understanding of natural language processing and text analytics.
  • Generative AI & RAG : Basic to intermediate exposure to Gen-AI, RAG-based solutions, and prompt engineering.
  • Vision Models & OCR : Experience or knowledge of working with image processing and OCR solutions.
  • Deep Learning : Understanding of neural networks, CNNs, and DL frameworks (TensorFlow / PyTorch).

    • Experience Level : 2–5 years (or equivalent project experience).

    Nice to Have :

  • Exposure to MLOps pipelines and deployment practices.
  • Experience with vector databases and retrieval systems.
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and CI / CD workflows.
