The Overseas Admission Counselor plays a pivotal role in guiding students aspiring to pursue higher education abroad. Key Responsibilities
1. Student Guidance
Counsel prospective students on study abroad opportunities, including courses, universities, and countries.
Conduct personalized sessions to understand and align with students goals and interests.
2. Admission Process
Assist students in completing application and admission procedures for foreign universities.
Provide guidance on preparing essential documents such as resumes, essays, academic transcripts, and recommendation letters.
3. University Selection
Analyze student profiles and recommend suitable universities and programs that match their aspirations.
Stay updated on admission criteria, new courses, and university offerings globally.
4. Visa and Immigration Support
Offer detailed guidance on visa application procedures and requirements.
Collaborate with authorities to ensure students have the necessary documentation for a seamless visa process.
5. Financial Aid and Scholarships
Inform students about available scholarships, grants, and financial aid options.
Provide advice on budgeting and financial planning for overseas education.
6. CRM Management
Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records, including interactions and progress, in the CRM system.
7. Compliance and Ethics
Ensure strict adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards in student recruitment and counselling.
Candidate Requirements
Strong knowledge of international education systems and admission procedures.
Excellent communication skills in English (proficiency in additional languages is a plus).
Empathetic and patient, with a student-first approach to counselling.
Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Proficiency in using CRM tools and student management systems.
Commitment to achieving daily, weekly, and monthly enrollment targets.
