Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a State Head located in Bangalore. The State Head will be responsible for overseeing and managing the organization's activities within the state. This includes setting and implementing strategies, coordinating with government and other stakeholders, managing projects and programs, monitoring progress and outcomes, and ensuring effective and efficient use of resources. The State Head will also be responsible for leading and mentoring a team, organizing events and campaigns, and ensuring compliance with regulations and guidelines.

Qualifications

• Leadership and team management skills
• Strategic planning and project management experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in collaboration with government and other stakeholders
• Knowledge of social welfare domains such as environment protection, animal welfare, women's education and empowerment, and social justice
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Understanding of local regulations and compliance requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Social Work, Public Administration, or Management
• Experience in the non-profit sector is a plus
