About the Role :
As the Technology Leader - Incubation, you will operate at the intersection of technology, innovation, and business strategy, working directly with the Founder & CEO to turn bold ideas into working prototypes and Minimum Viable Products (MVPs). You will lead high-impact incubation projects and bring them to life using cutting-edge technologies such as AI, ML, IoT, Cloud-native platforms, APIs, and Blockchain.
Once projects are validated, youll work with the Co-Founder & CTO to scale these solutions into production-grade products. This role uniquely combines startup agility with enterprise-level scalability, requiring both hands-on technical leadership and strategic Responsibilities :
- Work closely with the CEO to identify opportunities, define tech-led approaches, and rapidly prototype MVPs.
- Translate ambiguous ideas into working solutions using a fail-fast, iterative, and data-driven approach.
- Run experiments, pilots, and POCs to validate product-market fit or business value.
- Own the transition from MVP to product, ensuring solid architecture, security, and scalability.
- Define technical direction, select the right tools and frameworks, and oversee smooth integration into the core technology stack.
- Work alongside the CTO to influence and contribute to the long-term technology strategy.
- Participate in and drive key architecture and design decisions across systems.
- Continuously assess and integrate emerging technologies into the broader roadmap (e.g., GenAI, Edge AI, Digital Twins, Federated
Learning, etc.).
Lead and mentor small agile teams for rapid prototyping.Define engineering best practices, ensure code quality, and build a culture of experimentation.Act as the technology face of incubation projects-communicating effectively with CEO, CTO, design, product, clinical, and operations teams.Translate business strategy into tech execution with speed and Skills & Expertise :You are expected to be a hands-on architect and builder, comfortable leading across the full stack while staying agnostic to specific languages or Technical Expertise :
Deep experience with at least one major backend language (Java, Node.js, Python, Go) and modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue, Angular).RESTful APIs, GraphQL, API gateways, rate limiting, authentication (OAuth2, JWT), and throttling.Strong experience with GCP, AWS, or Azure, including :Serverless (Cloud Functions, Lambda)Kubernetes, Docker, CI / CDCloud Pub / Sub, EventBridge, CloudRun, etc.SQL : PostgreSQL, MySQLNoSQL : MongoDB, DynamoDB, FirestoreTime-Series & Graph DBs (e.g., InfluxDB, Neo4j) - nice to haveWorking knowledge of ML workflows, model deployment (e.g., via TensorFlow Serving, ONNX), or using APIs like OpenAI, Hugging Face.Experience integrating GenAI models into real-world apps is a plus.IoT & Edge Integration : Working understanding of data ingestion from connected devices, protocols (MQTT, CoAP), and edge computing architectures.Blockchain for Health Data : Experience or awareness of DLT, smart contracts, and secure health data exchange standards like FHIR.Secure coding practices, encryption standards, OAuth2 / OpenID, HTTPS / TLS, RBAC / ABAC.Familiarity with HIPAA, HL7, FHIR, GDPR, or similar healthcare / data regulations is a strong plus.CI / CD (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins)Monitoring and alerting (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Sentry)Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi)(ref : hirist.tech)
