Unistal Systems Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a. passionate Software Testing Engineer for its software engineering team in Noida. You will be responsible for ensuring that the new releases we make for features, enhancements, or new products meet the strict standards of quality & consistency.
Requirements :
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail, including the ability to track multiple test executions simultaneously and synthesise the results
- 3+ years' experience in testing of any SaaS products and clear understanding of architecture and design across all systems
- Experience in using defect tracking systems to report, track, and resolve defects
- Experience with API testing and performance testing with tools such as JMeter, and Postman
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, JS, and browser debugging / console tools
- Knowledge of data structures and algorithms and good object-oriented design and coding skills.
- Must have knowledge of RDBMS databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL etc.
- Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
- Good understanding of Agile software development methodology and QA's role in it
- Prior experience in B2B SaaS or complex web-based software product with multiple product areas utilising multiple services and technologies
- Experience working in cross-functional teams
Responsibilities :
Planning, design, and execution of test strategies to validate software functionality, performance, and scalabilityIndependently identify and prioritise test scenarios, including edge cases and potential areas of riskDevelop and maintain automated test suites for UI and API testing using industry-standard tools and frameworksDesign and implement test automation frameworks from scratch, leveraging best practices and emerging technologiesCollaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive test coverage and timely defect resolutionActively participate in code reviews, design discussions, and sprint planning meetings to drive quality and efficiencyProviding timely assistance on support ticketsQualifications
B.E / B.Tech in CS / IT or any equivalentStrong problem solving and troubleshooting skillsAbility to work independently in a fast-paced environment with frequent production releasesUnderstanding of performance and efficiency with a strong customer focusBe empathetic towards customers and appreciate the user's experience
