Role Summary :
The Team Leader is owner of the FP&A process in NEC India Shared Service Centre (ISSC) and is responsible for Finance month close team management and firstclass delivery of the FP&A services within the specified SLA to NEC SWS UK team. This role will work closely with all financial operational & corporate functions within the organisation. He / she will also lead the new entity transitions across Public Safety.
Essential Attributes & skills : :
- Very good accounting knowledge.
- Ability to engage at multiple level of leadership and stakeholders is a must.
- Hands on working experience required in FP&A process is a must. Especially candidate must have a good understanding of the periodic financial close process.
- Extensive knowledge of SAP Finance Modules. Experience in TM1 and peripheral systems is desired.
- Experience of managing a medium sized team is essential.
- Customer focused approach with Continuous Improvement mindset is a must.
- Demonstrable can do attitude with willingness to learn.
- Strong performanceorientated person able to function in a dynamic environment

Closely track and own the periodic financial closing activities in Public Safety Business to ensure the pre and post month close activities are delivered with accuracy on time.Review the P&L and Balance Sheet key account variances and take actions as necessary post discussion with the Business Partners.Review Balance Sheet recs and guide and support the team to keep open items within the thresholdHelp in budgeting and monthly forecasting processes. Working in close cooperation with Finance controller for NEC SWS Safety Business to finalise the numbersWork with the Business partners on the 5 year MTP and Annual Budget process.Jointly work with the direct manager to plan and lead new entity transitions identify new scope of work transition.Prepare the key metrics Dashboard and review with Leadership monthly / quarterly.Continuously identify and drive improvement and productivity actions within the team with focus on QualityExperience in managing a large team of specialists ranging from entrylevel to experienced individualsMeeting the team on regularly and provide constructive feedback to improve productivityConduct yearend appraisal review for the teamStrong stakeholder management skills coupled with excellent communication skills to dealwith people of various backgrounds / working styles
Qualifications :
Preferred qualified Accountant or MBA Finance from a reputed university.Experience (years) :
Finance Professional with minimum 912 years of relevant experience
