We are looking for a PHP Team Leader with strong hands-on experience in developing security-based domain projects / products and a passion for Linux-based web development . This role involves leading a team of developers, designing scalable solutions, and ensuring project delivery within timelines. The ideal candidate should be currently engaged in web-based product development and must possess strong problem-solving and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of PHP developers through the entire software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Design, develop, and maintain secure, high-performance web applications .
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and QA engineers.
- Guide the team in using best practices for secure coding and development on Linux platforms.
- Review code, conduct code audits, and enforce quality standards.
- Analyze client requirements and translate them into technical deliverables.
- Handle project planning, task assignment, and delivery monitoring.
- Provide technical mentorship and support to team members.
Required Skills & Qualifications
4–8 years of experience in PHP development , including at least 2 years in a leadership role.Experience in developing security-focused applications or working in security domains.Strong knowledge of web-based application development and Linux environments .Proficiency in PHP, MySQL , and modern frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Symfony, CodeIgniter).Familiarity with front-end technologies : HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, AJAX.Experience with version control systems like Git.Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team management skills.Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.Good to Have
Exposure to DevOps tools and CI / CD pipelines.Knowledge of web application security standards (e.g., OWASP Top 10).Experience with API development and integration (RESTful APIs, SOAP).Familiarity with agile development methodologies.Skills Required
