Position Title : NOP Commerce Technical Lead

Experience : 8+ years overall (6+ years in NOP Commerce development)

Location : Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Vadodara, Pune (Onsite)

Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned NOP Commerce Technical Lead to spearhead our e-commerce modernization initiatives. The ideal candidate will lead the upgrade from NOP Commerce 4.5 to 4.7 , manage complex integrations (Amazon, payments, GA4, CRM / ERP), and architect a scalable SaaS-ready platform .

This role requires strong technical depth, leadership skills, and experience driving enterprise-grade eCommerce transformations in .NET Core environments.

Key Responsibilities

Platform Leadership & Upgrades

Lead the upgrade from NOP Commerce 4.5 → 4.7 ensuring backward compatibility.

Architect scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions aligned with future SaaS adoption.

Custom Development

Design and develop custom plugins, themes, and extensions (payments, shipping, reporting, accounting).

Enhance platform functionality and ensure smooth upgrade paths for all custom components.

Integration & Architecture

Drive API integrations with Amazon Ads, Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Seller Central, CRMs, ERPs, and payment gateways (PayPal, Stripe, Authorize.net).

Implement GA4, logistics / shipping automation, and CRM workflows.

Manage code refactoring, performance optimization, and SQL tuning.

DevOps & Performance

Build CI / CD pipelines with Azure DevOps; integrate SonarQube for code quality.

Manage Azure Cloud infrastructure , Redis caching, and load testing.

Ensure secure coding and performance best practices for high-traffic eCommerce systems.

Team Leadership

Mentor developers, enforce clean coding standards, and ensure adherence to architecture principles.

Collaborate with product managers, QA, and stakeholders for timely project delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Expertise

8+ years of IT experience, with 6+ years in NOP Commerce eCommerce development .

Advanced proficiency in C#, .NET Core, MVC, HTML, CSS, JavaScript / jQuery .

Hands-on with custom plugin & theme development , import / export modules, and core extensions.

Integrations

Strong experience integrating CRMs, ERPs, and payment gateways .

Experience in Amazon Ads, Google Ads, and Microsoft Ads APIs .

Understanding of accounting plugins and invoicing workflows .

Cloud & DevOps

Skilled in Azure SQL, Redis, caching, and cloud optimization .

Familiar with Azure DevOps CI / CD and SonarQube setup.

Preferred / Good to Have

Exposure to multi-tenant SaaS implementations and microservices architecture .

Familiarity with Python → C# API migrations .

Experience in load testing and eCommerce scaling .
