Job Description : Control-M Automation Engineer

Location : Remote

Experience : 4.5 to 8 years

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Control-M Automation Engineer to design, implement, and optimize job scheduling solutions using Control-M. The ideal candidate will have strong automation and scripting expertise in PowerShell and / or Python, with a focus on job orchestration, deployment, and integration across cloud and on-prem environments.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy Control-M jobs as per business and program requirements.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather detailed job specifications and workflow dependencies.
Automate job logic using PowerShell and / or Python scripting.
Conduct unit testing, assist in QA, and support production deployments (including off-hours).
Troubleshoot and resolve Control-M workflow incidents efficiently.
Review and deploy jobs created by federated developers in lower environments.
Manage job migration, server upgrades, and ongoing process improvements.
Integrate Control-M with AWS services (Glue, S3) for data transfer and job automation.

Required Skills & Experience

4.5–8 years of experience in Control-M job development and scheduling.

Strong scripting skills in PowerShell and / or Python (mandatory).

Experience with OS-level jobs, file transfer automation, and Informatica job scheduling.

Hands-on exposure to AWS Glue and AWS S3 automation.

Proven ability to troubleshoot job failures and deployment issues independently.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a cross-functional environment.
