We are seeking a highly innovative and driven Senior Researcher to join Cradlepoint's AI Research lab. In this role, you will be instrumental in advancing AI research by exploring emerging techniques in Agentic AI and Reinforcement Learning, and extending state-of-the-art methodologies to solve real-world problems in mobile communication systems. You will have the opportunity to influence research projects from conceptualization to delivery, contributing to the future of AI-Native Networks.
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Advance AI research by exploring emerging techniques in Agentic AI and Reinforcement Learning , and extending the state-of-the-art to solve real-world problems in mobile communication systems.
- Invent and adapt AI techniques to contribute towards AI-driven networks .
- Define and develop research concepts and demonstrate their viability for adoption in products.
- Contribute to research projects in teams with diverse talents.
- Collaborate and coordinate with global research teams across varied competence areas, taking ownership and responsibility for the timely delivery of research modules.
- Contribute to scientific publications and patents to enhance Cradlepoint's intellectual property portfolio and reinforce its reputation as a leader in AI for mobile networks.
You will bring :
PhD degree from a top institute in India or abroad in Computer Science or related areas.Hands-on AI research experience with first author publications in leading venues .Extensive experience with state-of-the-art methods in agentic AI and large language models , particularly in optimizing planning, tool use, memory, and reflection capabilities.Familiarity with multi-agent system design is also valued.Solid understanding of Reinforcement Learning and multi-agent concepts .Understanding of Radio fundamentals, including L1, L2, and L3 layers and functions, would be a significant positive.Demonstrated ability to work with globally distributed research teams.Good communication skills and openness to work in adjacent research areas.Excellent coding skills.Ability and willingness to learn domain-specific things.Skills Required
